We have arranged an educational school trip to visit Chedworth Roman Villa on Tuesday 14th May for class 2 children to support our topic this term.
Chedworth Roman Villa has the remains of one of the largest Romano-British villas in the country featuring several fine mosaics, two bathhouses, hypocausts, a water-shrine and latrine. It is the best site in the country for exploring and understanding the remains of a large country house of the Roman period and is very much an interactive attraction, with many events being staged so that your experience of the site is enhanced and your understanding of the Roman way of life improved.
We will be leaving school at 8.30am and returning before 3.15pm. The children will require a packed lunch and drinks. We would like them to be in school uniform. The cost for this trip is £10 per child.
