Happiness Project

Today some of the children practiced awareness through mindfulness. After some meditation practice and making an eye pillow to help aid relaxation, we went into the wild area and created a mindfulness mandala.

The centre represents what they notice first in the area and then as they mindfully move through the “forest” they notice what’s around them and bring items back to create a reflection of their internal experience.

They also spotted a beautiful fungus hidden in the leaf debris.
