I was born on the outskirts of Bristol and spent 4 years training and teaching in the beautiful city of Chester. I moved back to Bristol in 2018 and have since worked in a number of schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. I completed my NQT year in a lovely village school in North Somerset in a Year 1 class, followed by a term in a mixed Y3/4 class. I joined the wonderful Oldbury team in January 2022, in the KS2 class, after leaving a job in Y3 in Bradley Stoke.
When I am not teaching, I thoroughly enjoy baking (often for the Oldbury team too)! I am a keen runner, have been for several years – I have signed up for the Great North Run this year! I attend PT and boot camp classes 3 times a week, which I LOVE. Much to some of my children’s disappointment, I often share my love of exercise with them, starting with implementing the daily mile!
Additionally, I assist with the running of my local Brownie Pack every week, something which I have been doing since the age of 14.
