Take a look at all the exciting things we do in Hedgehog class!

Christmas sing-along today.

Mrs Millard’s mum, Mrs Charlton, met Hedgehogs through a video call to play her ukulele and sing Christmas songs with us. We sang Oh Christmas Tree, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney, I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. We all had lots of fun and enjoyed singing together.

Weather Station

We are learning about weather and the seasons so today we looked at weather measurement equipment and set up a weather station in the outside area

Fireworks Art

We learnt about the primary colours then used bundled straws to print the firework shapes onto the black paper. Some of the colours mixed and made new colours.

Here are a few photos of Hedgehogs class with the rabbits, called Maple and Cinnamon. We heard from Amy about what they eat, where they live and how they play. We were lucky to be able to have a stroke of them too.

Hedgehogs have been working hard at drawing self-portraits in chalk.
